Compensators are used primarily in building riser systems to compensate for thermal
expansion and concrete shrinkage. They are designed to absorb straight axial compression
and extension and can be installed in vertical or horizontal piping.
It is important to properly guide your piping system. To find a choice of guides and installation
guidance, go to our pipe guides section.
